Not only are they restrictive, but they are also made of thin plastic these factory parts are prone to snapping apart where the flange meets the tube, splitting along the length, and\/or slipping out of their intercooler couplers. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOur BMS Elite S55 replacement charge pipes are made from heavy-duty aluminum and are designed with CNC flanges and a protruding lip for a secure OEM-like fit. They are finished in a gloss black powder coat to match the engine bay and we’ve also incorporated a pre-capped 1\/8″ NPT bung in to each pipe.
