A plastic vent is fitted as standard on the gearbox, which allows the gearbox oil to expand and allows any gases which are produced to escape. Unfortunately, this solution is overloaded rather quickly, which leads to transmission oil splashing through the entire engine compartment. Our system solves this problem with an easy to install and compact Catchtank.

The Catchtank collects the fluids leaking from the transmission and allows the trapped gases to vent through a filter. The Catchtank allows the fluids to enter the can only at a certain angle. This prevents the liquids from splashing through the filter. The transmission oil then simply flows back again.
